Sunrise on Mt. Bross
Parked at the trail head after summitting Mount of the Holy Cross. By the time I arrived, all the campsites were taken and people were setting up in their rigs. I had only planned to stay in my car. It makes the morning logistics easier.
I’ve hiked this loop the common way a couple of times. See DeCaLiBron. This way I really enjoyed as the crowd was minimal until approaching Mt. Democrat. My goal was to make it to the top of Mt. Bross for sunrise. I was 5 minutes late of seeing it crest the horizon, but I still got an epic view and it was well worth the push. Good Times.
